Oban Highland Games

The Oban Highland Games, also known as the Argyllshire Gathering, is a spectacle of Scottish culture that draws participants and spectators from around the globe to the picturesque town of Oban.
The Argyllshire Gathering’s Oban Games, a day of Highland dancing, athletics, heavy field events and solo piping competitions, is a summertime highlight for both Oban residents and tourists from all over the world. The air is filled with the sound of pipes skirling and the flash of clan colours on kilts as hammers are hurled, cabers are tossed and runners sprint for the line.
