SUMMARY:Historical Tour and Seafood Experience
DESCRIPTION:A delightful historical tour around Oban\, ending with a wonderful Seafood Experience. Guests will explore hidden gems that aren’t part of the usual tourist path and enjoy a special glimpse into the history and culture. \nGuests will gather at a central spot in Oban\, where they’ll be warmly welcomed in our special tartan vehicle. They will enjoy a delightful tour of local historical sites that are often overlooked by typical tourists\, followed by a charming journey through the picturesque countryside off the beaten path. At the end of the tour\, guests will enjoy a delightful seafood (or vegetarian option) lunch and gain a glimpse into the local shellfish economy. \nThey will visit Dunstaffanage Castle\, a charming ruined castle with a unique local history that goes all the way back to the 12th Century. After that\, they will head to St Conan’s Kirk\, a uniquely famous church that holds the bones of Robert the Bruce. \nFrom there\, you’ll have the chance to capture some lovely photographs of Kilchurn Castle\, which dates back to the 15th century and was the original home of the Clan Campbell. \nOn the way back to Oban\, they’ll pass through Glen Lonan\, a lovely hidden valley where you can spot standing stones and highland cattle. There will be chances to get up close and personal with highland cows and calves if it’s the right season! \nThe guest will then be taken back to Oban\, where a delightful seafood lunch will be enjoyed outdoors\, with a lovely view of the local fishing boats. \nWe’ll take care of your transportation and provide a friendly guide in a car or mini bus from Oban. The vehicle will be equipped with disabled access if needed.
